Nils Thomsen, BERLIN, 2015

Pipemaker Nils Thomsen - a pipe maker for more than forty years, was one of the subjects of a Leica workshop in Berlin. Apart from his craft and reputation, he was a senior officer in the former East German military and his views on the U.S. and Germany were fascinating. But in the end, his love for his family and grand children were now his focus apart from his business. A fascinating man indeed.
